The San Andreas K9 Unit is the unit responsible for patrolling with Canine dogs to help find illegal items such as weapons and narcotics, as well as use them to aid in search and rescue and detaining/neutralisation of suspects.

The San Andreas Gang Crime Suppression Unit is the unit for ensuring that crime between or by local gangs is monitored and ended before getting out of control. Equipped with special weapons and devices to monitor gangs, this undercover squad is for elite officers only.

Rifle Certification

Minimum Rank: LEO II

Authorizes officers to carry and deploy patrol rifles during high-risk situations or when elevated force is necessary.

High Speed Certification

Minimum Rank: LEO III

Permits trained personnel to operate vehicles at high speeds during pursuits or emergency responses.

Field Training Program Certification

Minimum Rank: LEO IV

Designates an officer as a certified Field Training Officer, qualified to train and evaluate probationary officers.

Unmarked Vehicle Certification

Minimum Rank: LEO III

Grants access to operate unmarked patrol vehicles for surveillance or specialized enforcement operations.

Beanbag Shotgun Certification

Minimum Rank: LEO II

Allows the use of less-lethal beanbag shotguns for crowd control or subduing non-compliant subjects safely.
